In the subscribe page (Weekly lists to be informed about the news on the different domains of data models) there is now a new option for the domain of Smart Destinations (at the bottom of the page).
In this post also the direct access to this list.

New domain for Smart Destinations
We are glad to announce the creation of a group on Smart Destinations. These destinations are related to their touristic exploitation.
The domain has been just created.
Its first goal will be to map the standard UNE 178503 : 2019 Smart tourism destinations. Semantics applied to tourism into the correspondent data models.
feel free to contact us for further info.
Open issues for all data models
There is a new widget on the front page titled “Open PR and issues” there you can browse all the Pull requests contributed by the community and the open issues across all the data models.
Updated every 5 minutes
This way you can be informed about evolution going on and to make sure that all contributions are considered.
In progress Water Observed data model
A new model for the environmental observation of water is being contributed.
You can reach it here
Opening new subjects
Although there are not data models coded yet (hopefully there will be new ones coming), just to let you know new subjects are.
– Battery inside the Cross Sector domain
– Green Energy inside the Smart energy domain
– Autonomous mobile robot inside de Smart robotics domain
Updates on data models
There are 4 new data models under review at incubated folder

They will have to be adapted to the guidelines and to the manual of single data code
Additionally, there are new contributions to water Network management
It also has been submitted a new data model for water observation. Soon to be assessed and shared.
Contribution Manual
Published the contribution manual for the repository.

Methodology for working groups to create new data models
Most of the data models come from different groups of people interested in the creation of standards in an agile way.
Here you can access a cheat sheet (Let’s call it methodology) on how to tackle these tasks.
summarized these are the steps. It takes for granted that the group is already available.
Step 0. Gather documentation
Step 1. Compile elements.
Step 2. Meet to reach a Generalization proposal
Step 3. Internal validation
Step 4. Create the technical documentation of a data model
Step 5. Submit your data model
Step 6. Review
Step 7. Disseminate
Updating the learning zone
New elements for the testing tools of google for json linked data and a new presentation about how to make links between entities.
